Organic and Natural: Free of chemicals; grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and bioengineering, use of pure ingredients, if the USDA label applies, it will be listed with the product.
Fair and Social: Products that come from projects and companies in developing countries with fair compensation or products created by people with disabilities.
Recycled, Reclaimed and Upcycled: Re-use of existing materials or products to create new or better products; or use of waste or useless products to create a better product; or locally sourced materials.
Energy Conscious: Use of renewable energies; demonstrated conservation of energy to reduce carbon footprint and environmental impact.

What does Socially Responsible mean?
Social responsibility is an ethic or theory that an entity, be it an organization or individual, has an obligation to act to benefit society at large. Social responsibility is a duty every individual or organization has to perform so as to maintain a balance between the economy and the ecosystem. A trade-off always exists between economic development, in the material sense, and the welfare of the society and environment. Social responsibility means sustaining the equilibrium between the two. It pertains not only to business organizations but also to everyone whose any action impacts the environment. This responsibility can be passive, by avoiding engaging in socially harmful acts, or active, by performing activities that directly advance social goals.1

What does NicerWorld mean by the word eco?
NicerWorld uses the term eco to describe products that have less impact on the environment than conventional products.
NicerWorld eco products are made of natural or organic materials and are often manufactured in ways that energy is conserved as much as possible, and natural resources are not depleted. We are committed to finding products that have an eco story and we'll share with you why those products are environmentally conscious or socially responsible.

How do the product badges affect me?
The product badges help you recognize what is ecologiocal about a product at-a-glance. In addition, the badges allow you to search products easily and specifically based on your personal preferences and priorities. If ingredients and materials are on the top of your list, you'll like our badge Organic and Natural or Recycled. We define sustainability as to provide sustenance and nourishment without depleting resources. By supporting and offering eco products we believe to have a positive impact on the sustainability of lives of individuals, families, and communities, and the eco system.

Sustainability in Association with Society: We partnered with GlobalGiving.org so that our customers purchases donate up to 5% of each purchase to a charity of their choice and enhance the life quality of less fortunate groups of society. We also source and support well made eco products from socially weak or disabled people and socially fair projects in developing countries.

NicerWorld is proud to offer exceptional products.
If an item fails to meet your expectations, simply return it within 14 days of receipt and we will take it back for an exchange or refund of the product cost minus shipping charges.
We regret that final sale, sale items over 30% off, opened food, and personal care items cannot be returned.
Customized items cannot be returned unless there is a shipment error or manufacturing defect.

Please refer to the return instructions on your packing slip and make sure your package is insured and prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. packages.

Refunds.
Please allow one billing cycle for a credit card refund to appear on your statement. Refunds on shipping and handling are credited only when an item is incorrectly shipped or arrives defective or damaged. Gift returns will be credited with a gift certificate.

Where does NicerWorld ship to?
NicerWorld ships to any street address in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We ship orders via Fed-Ex Overnight, Fed Ex Ground, Fed Ex Same Day Delivery, Fed-Ex Smartpost, and our White Glove delivery service. NicerWorld does not ship to PO Boxes or APO addresses. We currently do not ship to any of the U.S. Territories such as Puerto Rico.

Are you able to reship returned packages?
We are not able to reship packages that are returned to us by the carrier. All undelivered packages will be processed as a return. Please take this into consideration when selecting your shipping address for an order.

Shipping Time?
Orders selected for next-day shipping that are placed before 11:00 a.m. PST will ship the same day. If you select next day on a Friday, please be advised that your package will not be delivered until Monday. Our goal is to process and ship your order within 2-5 business days of receipt. For items that are not yet at our vendors, please allow 2-3 weeks for the item to be processed and shipped. A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships. This tracking number will allow you to check on the delivery status of your order.

Change shipping address.
Your default shipping address can be modified from your Profile page. If you have just placed an order, you will have a brief window of 5 minutes to change your shipping address by visiting your Profile page.

Taxes.
NicerWorld is obligated by law to collect sales tax on shipping and handling fees associated with taxable orders shipping to California.
The sales tax quoted at time of checkout is only an estimate. The final total sales tax will be reflected on your invoice and will include state and local taxes, as well as any applicable rebates or fees. Each state's tax laws specify what purchases are subject to sales tax. No sales tax is charged when purchasing e-gift cards; however, purchases paid for with e-gift card credits may be subject to tax.

The States of Oklahoma, Vermont, and South Dakota requires Oklahoma, Vermont, and South Dakota purchasers to report all purchases that were not taxed and pay tax on those purchases.
